What is Quiethouse Mastering?

Quiethouse Mastering takes a different approach to Mastering and audio post-production. Bothered by the idea that many artists do not finalize their projects because of lack of available resources, we aim to provide the experience you need to achieve the best possible outcome for your recording project.

We can do that for you at an affordable price. We love music as much as you do and we love seeing bedroom and home studio projects reach their full potential. We have worked with countless home studio musicians and songwriters to finish their projects and ready them for digital downloads or physical distribution.

What have clients said about Quiethouse Mastering?

Thanks Quiethouse  for a terrific job on @revchristopher 's project-sounds like 2" tape!

Your mix of our single sounds like sonic lava coming down a mountain of sound. THE SOUND!

Thank you for your attention to detail on our project. It came out better than we expected!

So whats the difference between Analog and Digital Mastering?

In our opinion technology has moved at such a pace that its left up to incredibly discerning listeners to tell the difference between the two. It is our belief that there are now ways around the digital/analog difference and we spend HOURS experimenting and perfecting this craft.

We have some of the same equipment expensive mastering studios have: a dedicated Mastering Engineer with over 12 years of experience with many genres of musc, professional AD/DA converters, and a strong commitment to the completion of your project.

We have invested in infrastructure that has proven to be the industry standard for use in audio mastering and post-production.

But there are a HUNDRED other online mastering facilities doing the same thing!

We know and we love the competition! Our aim is to be the best service for your investment. We do not claim 24 hour turn-around because it takes time to get it right the first time. We do not apply a "Mastering Baseline" like some other places do and then charge you for it. Every song is given its due attention and analysis. Some places even want you to pay them for their samples! We offer free preview, advice, and musical insight. We are musicians too and we know how important your project is. We want to work with you to help finalize the best product you can put forward.

What can you expect when you submit your tracks to us?

Each song you submit to us gets leveled for maximum dynamic range and clarity. We apply critical listening in addition to tonal shaping of your tracks. Depending on the genre of music, we will apply whatever EQ, Compression, or Limiting is needed to make your tracks sound the best they can on a wide range of playback mediums.
